EDUCATION? ASSUMPTION IS THE ANSWER!

Education is important for a child like me
Because education's the way to set a man free
Thanks to education it has helped me a lot in this world
Where all of my words are at worth

Assumption-Iloilo is popular for its plaid skirt
But if we're in the reality world, we just wear a simple shirt
But what's so great about Assumption?
Does it really teaches us to follow their rules and regulations?
One hundred years in progress
So thanks for our cooperation and oneness
We are bound to follow St. Marie Eugenie's teachings
For us to be good human beings
None sense has no space in Assumption
Because all they wish for us is perfection
Thanks to you, you brought to me intelligence
And I want to acknowledge your presence
So thank you dear Assumption
For bringing me this information that brought to my transformation
I will forever cherish this
Where my heart is forever nourished

The Quote of the Day:

"Save Rice, Save Lives."

This sticker struck me the most when I was riding the jeepney last month ago. It struck me because it somehow shows the problem which we are now facing. POVERTY!!!!!!!!!!. It made me sad because a lot of people are just wasting food especially the teenagers. They don't actually notice the hardships of their parents in order to give them food to eat everyday. And most especially, we don't actually give much of the attention to the farmers who are there under the sun harveting rice. I just can't seem to bear this in my mind. I can't just sit here doing nothing. I, WE should NOW make an act to save lives by saving rice for other people. Let's not waste our time bugging around here. We should all be responsible in making this act.

Chocoholic?!

Chocolate (pronounced /ˈtʃɒklɨt/ ( listen) or /ˈtʃɒkəlɨt/) comprises a number of raw and processed foods produced from the seed of the tropical Theobroma cacao tree. Cacao has been cultivated for at least three millennia in Mexico, Central and South America, with its earliest documented use around 1100 BC. The majority of the Mesoamerican peoples made chocolate beverages, including the Aztecs, who made it into a beverage known as xocolātl, a Nahuatl word meaning "bitter water". The seeds of the cacao tree have an intense bitter taste, and must be fermented to develop the flavor.

After fermentation, the beans are dried, cleaned, and roasted, and the shell is removed to produce cacao nibs. The nibs are then ground to cocoa mass, pure chocolate in rough form. Because this cocoa mass usually is liquefied then molded with or without other ingredients, it is called chocolate liquor. The liquor also may be processed into two components: cocoa solids and cocoa butter. Unsweetened baking chocolate (bitter chocolate) contains primarily cocoa solids and cocoa butter in varying proportions. Much of the chocolate consumed today is in the form of sweet chocolate, combining cocoa solids, cocoa butter or other fat, and sugar. Milk chocolate is sweet chocolate that additionally contains milk powder or condensed milk. White chocolate contains cocoa butter, sugar, and milk but no cocoa solids.

Cocoa solids contain alkaloids such as theobromine and phenethylamine, which have physiological effects on the body. It has been linked to serotonin levels in the brain. Some research found that chocolate, eaten in moderation, can lower blood pressure. The presence of theobromine renders it toxic to some animals, especially dogs and cats. Chocolate has become one of the most popular food types and flavors in the world. Gifts of chocolate molded into different shapes have become traditional on certain holidays: chocolate bunnies and eggs are popular on Easter, chocolate coins on Hanukkah, Santa Claus and other holiday symbols on Christmas, and chocolate hearts or chocolate in heart-shaped boxes on Valentine's Day. Chocolate is also used in cold and hot beverages, to produce chocolate milk and hot chocolate.

Around three quarters of world cacao bean production takes place in West Africa, and as of 2009 recent controversy has focused on the use of child labor in cocoa production there.

There for I love chocolates because it is so sweet, mouth-watering and addictive. I love it so much because when I eat it I could easily remember the things that I forgot to say. And so, chocolates for me are like drugs because I can't get enough of it. I'm such a chocoholic person.

SHIH TZU

The Shih Tzu (pronounced SHEE-tsoo, from Mandarin [ʂɨ́tsɨ]) is a breed of small but very ancient dog type, with long silky fur. The breed originated in China. The name is both singular and plural.

Shih Tzu (simplified Chinese: 狮子狗; traditional Chinese: 獅子狗; pinyin: Shīzi Gǒu; Wade-Giles: Shih-tzu Kou; literally "Lion Dog"), is the Chinese name rendered according to the Wade-Giles system of romanization in use when the breed was first introduced in America; the Chinese pronunciation is approximately SHIRR-tsə. The name translates as Lion Dog, so named because the dog was bred to resemble "the lion as depicted in traditional oriental art,"such as the Chinese guardian lions. The Shih Tzu is also often known as the "Xi Shi quan" (西施犬), based on the name of Xi Shi, regarded as the most beautiful woman of ancient China, and, less often, the Chrysanthemum Dog, a nickname coined in England in the 1930s. The dog may also be called the Tibetan Lion Dog, but whether or not the breed should be referred to as a Tibetan or Chinese breed is a source of argument, the absolute answer to which "may never be known".
