Did you joined the Milo Marathon yesterday? Well, if you didn't then you have missed the opportunity to help other shoe-less kids.
Yesterday, we were at the Freedom Grandstand to join the 34th National Milo Marathon. As we arrived at the venue, the race was already starting. And so what we did was, we just run near Atrium going to the Flyover near the University of the Philippines going back to Freedom Grandstand. We were like so tired back there that we just walk and somehow took the opportunity to take some pictures for our Journalism project. And so we ended up exhausted and starving until we reached the finish line with no certificate. It was quite shocking that we ran so long and we didn't have any certificate of participation. But then again, I have come to realize that the reason that we joined this event is for the those less fortunate kids and not for the benefit of our own selves.
So the question, are we still going to join that Marathon?
well, it somehow depends on the schedule. But I am always willing to sacrifice some of my things and jobs just to help others out. And so, I am asking you if you would want to join next year and help in the needs of those kids.
